Fact of the matter is, people are becoming more open to the idea of hypnosis being able to help with day to day struggles such as removing fears and phobias, bad habits and even PTSD.

Having a fear of something can be debilitating. Be it something understandably scary like snakes, spiders and heights, or something more unusual like fear of peanut butter, chewing gum, string or mirrors (yes these are legit fears)

These fears and phobias can easily be cured with guided Hypnosis, performed by certified Hypnotherapists, either face to face or with recorded audio played through headphones.

Hypnosis is a highly effective and proven technique, which allows you to gain mastery over your own body and the calming of your mind. The use of this hypnotic state, guided relaxation, intense concentration, visualisation and focused attention enables changes in perception and memory, with a major increase in response to suggestion.

How can Hypnotherapy help you with your driving?

Just like any of the fears and phobias listed above, the fear of driving, also known as Vehophobia, is extremely common. 

This fear can be slight enough where the driver just feels a little nervous when driving, or could be so severe that they have panic attacks at the mere thought of driving and usually avoid it at all costs.

It’s not necessarily a fear of driving itself, but the fear of being in an accident which scares people the most, and this is completely understandable.

Listening to a guided Hypnosis audio recording or even a Sleep Hypnosis recording (played whilst you’re asleep) has been proven to effectively help remove the anxiety or phobia from your subconscious mind, making it easier to face your fears without resistance.

The fear and anxiety which comes with test day is extremely common yet easy to manage if you have the right tools. Being nervous, is normal and understandable. But being overly anxious, panicking and potentially even crying with fear, is not going to give you a positive outcome. Having the tools to control this, is the ultimate superpower!

True Story:

A hypnotherapist tells a story of her client Debbie, who suffered from panic attacks whenever her driving test came close. She had already taken her test 11 times and failed, not because she was not a competent driver, but because she panicked each time at the slightest mistake.

After her first couple of failures she began to have panic attacks several days prior to her next forthcoming test. She couldn't sleep the night before and was even physically sick on several occasion. Even though Debbie had 300 hours of driving experience behind her, she couldn’t shake the anxiety of making mistakes on her test.

After just ONE session with her Hypnotherapist, Debbie felt confident enough to say “I’ll call you to let you know I’ve passed my test” and sure enough, she did!!

By altering Debbie’s mindset and her perception of the test day, visualising her perfect drive and instilling confidence in her subconscious mind, she was able to take on her next test with determination and conviction.
